How to find the BRADFORD Training
Centre
Bradford Training Centre: Directions from Road
Rail and Air Terminals
This page should provide all the details needed
for delegates attending our training courses in Bradford.
Training courses in Bradford are held in a
training centre
located in the historic area of Little Germany. The buildings in Little
Germany date back to the late 19th century and are the legacy of
wealthy merchants from Mainland Europe who built imposing warehouses
for the sales and storage of their goods. Nowadays, many of the
buildings have been converted to offices and living spaces, but the
area is still one of Bradford's busiest commercial areas.
The address of the training centre is:
City Training
Services
39/41 Chapel Street
Little Germany
Bradford
BD1 5BY
The training facilities are contemporary: they
feature purpose built
state-of-the-art training rooms. There is cafe, and a lounge area for
delegates who wish to unwind, catch up with the latest Sky news, or
read the newspaper. For the energetic, there is a fully equipped gym
located on the upper floor of the building.
Driving
Getting to the Bradford Training Centre from the
South, East, and West
(e.g. Sheffield, Manchester, Hull, Nottingham, Derby, Leicester,
Birmingham, Coventry, London)
Exit the M62 at Junction 26 and take the M606 to
Bradford. Continue
on the M606 to the end, then follow the road around to the right and
onto the A6177 Rooley Lane. Continue past Asda supermarket then go left
at the roundabout onto the A650. Continue straight ahead at the next
two roundabouts. As you approach the city centre bear right and
continue on the A650 Shipley Airedale Road (towards Shipley) then turn
left at the junction with the A647 Leeds Road towards the City Centre.
Immediately before the traffic lights, turn right onto Chapel Street.
The training centre is at the top of Chapel Street on the left.
Getting to the Bradford Training Centre from the
North
(e.g. York, Durham, Newcastle, Edinburgh)
If you are arriving from the north-west you will
probably use the
A629/A650 via Skipton and Keighley. From the north-east it is most
convenient to use the A1 or A19, and reach Bradford via the A59 and
then the A658 south of Harrogate. Once you are on the A650 Shipley
Airedale Road, turn right onto A647 Leeds Road toward the City Centre.
Then follow the directions from Leeds Road as described above.

Parking
At the training centre on Chapel Street, Burnett
Street car park can
be found on your right if you turn left onto Upper Park Gate. It costs
£3 all day, but unfortunately, is usually full up after about
8:45am.
There is on-street parking all around Little Germany, but is limited to
4 hours. For ample secure all-day parking, we recommend 'Leisure
Exchange' multi-storey carpark which is a 5 minute walk away and costs
£3.20 all day. It is next to the Express by
Holiday Inn
and the 'Cineworld' Multiplex cinema - instead of turning right when on
the A647 Leeds Road, turn left immediately after the traffic lights and
follow the road to the car park entrance. For more information on
parking and tariffs see the Bradford
Council web site.
Training delegates who experience disabilities
which require them to
park within a short distance of the training centre should contact us
as soon as possible so that we may try and make appropriate
arrangements.
