Introduction to Oracle Database
Administration
This course gives an introduction to the
administration of an ORACLE Relational Database. It takes the format of
a workshop, with a mix of lecture, working examples and practical
exercises. It is based on ORACLE but some of the underlying principles
may be applied to other databases including Informix, Microsoft SQL
Server, Access and DB2.

INTENSITY: About 40% of the course is
practicals, and 60% lectures.
RESOURCE: Each student will have
exclusive use of a PC or Sun workstation for the duration of the
course. Each student will be provided with a full set of training notes
relating to the course.
PREREQUISITES: This course is
only suitable for those who have attended both the Introduction to Oracle SQL*Plus Course and the Oracle
PL/SQL course
It is also recommended that the delegate
has
several months hands on experience of the use of both SQL, SQL*Plus and
PL/SQL.
FOLLOW UPS: First Alternative will be
