Yes, we will come to your company to train. Generally if you have four or more trainees this will be more cost-effective for you. Compare our prices to what it would cost to train three or more of your employees at one of our training centres and you might be surprised to learn that it will usually cost you less if we come right to your doorstep. Add in the extra convenience, and the flexibility to tailor the course to your exact needs, and you can see why this is a popular service.

On-site Service, Rates and Examples:

What does an on-site course consist of?

1. Standard or tailored course notes for each attendee. Pick and choose topics from our extensive range of courses, or simply use our standard descriptions.

2. Free loan of Sun workstations/PCs and ancillary equipment, plus server for systems administration courses. You do not need to source equipment or provide any software. We also supply presentation (data projector) equipment if required.

3. You supply just the classroom, with power points. A screen or wall to project on would be handy, and a whiteboard or flip chart to write on. We can supply mains adapters, network equipment, data projector, etc.

What will it cost?

The rates are based on the following formula, please add VAT at the current rate:

Basic daily rate £500
Add £75 per attendee per day
Minimum of 4 attendees
For example, a course for 4 is £800 per day, and for 7 it would be £1025 per day.

What expenses are there?

45p per mile travel from our instructor's home.
£90 per overnight stay, or you can arrange and pay.

Example 1

A 3 day course for 5 people covering 1 day from the Introduction to Solaris course, plus 2 days from the Systems Administration Part 1 course. Client location Leeds.

Daily rate £875, total for 3 days is £2625

Mileage approx 66 miles from our Notts based instructor = 2 x 66 @ 45p = £59.40
Instructor travels to the site on the first morning, arrives 8am to set up. Stays 2 nights at £90 = £180
Total expenses is £239.40

Grand total = £2864.40 + VAT
This works out at approximately £190 per student per day, with no student expenses to pay.

Example 2

A 5 day course for 6 people covering a selection of topics from our Systems Administration courses. Client location Newcastle.

Daily rate £950, total for 5 days is £4750

Mileage approx 155 miles from our Notts based instructor = 2 x 155 @ 45p = £139.50
Instructor travels to the site the night before, arrives 8am the first day to set up. Stays 5 nights at £90 = £450
Total expenses is £589.50

Grand total = £5339.50 + VAT
This works out at approximately £178 per student per day, with no student expenses to pay.
