Travelling by Car
From the M4, exit at junction 13 and turn North onto the A34 towards Oxford. After about 7 miles take the turning off to Chilton past the Garden Centre onto the A4185. Go past the Atomic Energy Centre until you come to a turning on the left signposted Harwell Business Centre (North), Curie Avenue. Turn left here, past the Squash Club on the right and as the road starts to bend turn left, then take the first turning to the right marked conference centre. Parking is available here.
From the North, follow the A34 south from the M40/Oxford ring road (Junction 9). Come off at the Milton, Didcot junction. (Note that the major landmark at the A34 turn-off is the Didcot Power Station cooling towers) Go right around the roundabout back under the A34 then turn on to the A4130 towards Harwell.
Go straight on at the traffic lights, past the Horse and Harrow pub on your right and up to the next roundabout (garage on the left) where you go straight over and continue onto the A4185. After about 3/4 mile you will come to a turning on the right signposted Harwell Business Centre (North) Curie Avenue, turn right here, past the Squash Club on the right and as the road starts to bend take the left then first right marked conference centre.

Travelling by train.
The nearest rail station is Didcot Parkway, a distance of about 3.5miles. Didcot is on the main Great Western line from London Paddington, with frequent services from both London (c. 40-50 minutes) and the West. Didcot station is well served by Taxis, but please call the centre if you have problems.

ACCOMMODATIONS
There is a wide range of hotels and guest houses locally, and First Alternative students always seem well catered for and happy with them.

Several of the guest houses are within a few hundred yards of our training centre and the nearest hotel is less than one mile.
