Our web site has a few
pages which require you to give us information. This includes details
of the training content required, the location and number of attendees.
You may also be asked for your contact details, including name,
organisation, address, email and phone number which may be stored and
used to send you further information by email only in the form of a
3-monthly newsletter announcing new dates and courses.
You can opt out of this at any time simply by phoning us or email
unsubscribe@firstalt.co.uk
Our contact details are clearly displayed at the left hand side of
every page of our web site.
If you decide to pay by card, we will never store your information in
any physical or electronic form. We enter these details only on a
virtual terminal facility when logged in to our card acquirer account,
and only when in direct phone contact with you.

We are committed to safeguarding the privacy of our website visitors;
this policy sets out how we will treat your personal information.

of their activities hosting our web site, and is accessible by First
Alternative as diagrams and reports, accessible at a password protected
administration location.

email address, plus any other information
you may decide to add as comments)
(c) Information that you send us when using our on-site services
quotation from, including the information details in (b) above, plus
details of the course content, location and duration, and number of
attendees.

including your name, company name, company address, phone number and
email address, plus any other information you may decide to add as
comments, plus details of your interest in specific courses.
(e) First Alternative does not actively market to children, and we
never knowingly ask a child under 13 to divulge personal information.

A cookie consists of information sent by a web server to a web browser,
and stored by the browser. The information is then
sent back to the server each time the browser requests a page from the
server. This enables the web server to identify and
track the web browser.
We do not use cookies for any purpose, and do not offer ecommerce
facilities within our web site.
We do not use any other mechanism such a Google Analytics to track
access.
If you are in any doubt, you can disable 3rd party cookies in your
browser.
(4) Using your personal information
Personal information submitted to us via this website will be used for
the purposes specified in this privacy policy or in relevant parts of
the website.
We may use your personal information to:
(a) Add you to our email mailing list, which is used to send brief
details of upcoming courses about once every 3 months.
You can unsubscribe from this service simply by telephoning us on
01636-893673, or emailing unsubscribe@firstalt.co.uk
(b) Respond to a general enquiry you have made using our General
enquiry web form.
(c) Prepare and send automated on-site service quotations.
We do not have any ecommerce facilities on our web site and your will
never be asked to enter any card details.
All our card-based financial transactions are handled through our
payment services provider, Paypoint.
We enter your card details using a virtual terminal facility, and only
when in direct contact with you by phone. Your card details are never
physically or electronically recorded on our systems.
You can review the Paypoint privacy policy at www.paypoint.com. We will
share information with Paypoint only to the extent necessary for the
purposes of processing payments you make via the virtual terminal
service and dealing with complaints and queries relating to such
payments.
(5) Disclosures
We may disclose information about you to any of our employees,
officers, agents, suppliers or subcontractors insofar as reasonably
necessary for the purposes as set out in this privacy policy.
In addition, we may disclose your personal information:
